Program Summary
Panelists Judge Ralph Erickson, Dr. Barrie March and David Bossart, Attorney at Law will discuss the “Cost of Addiction”. Each brings their own unique knowledge and experience to share. Cindy Simmer, Director of Admissions at ShareHouse will serve as moderator. Why is this discussion important to Human Resource Professionals? 77% of illicit drug users work; more than 60% of adults know someone who has reported to work under the influences of alcohol or drugs; alcoholism is estimated to cause 500 million lost workdays annually and there is more to the story.

2.Understand the impact addiction has on the community.
3.Understand the disease of addiction.
4.Understand the need for treatment of this disease.
Speaker Biographies
Judge Ralph Erickson serves this community on the federal bench. He also serves as Vice President of the ShareHouse Foundation Board of Directors.
Dr. Barrie March serves as Medical Director of ShareHouse. He practiced internal medicine at MeritCare for many years before joining the staff of Pracs.
David Bossart, attorney at law, has served this community throughout his career. The Bossart Law firm focuses on personal injury law.
Cindy Simmer, Director of Admissions, ShareHouse, has served the mental health and chemical dependency population throughout her career.
