| Are you or one of your team members looking for an exciting and rewarding volunteer opportunity? Join the FMHRA Board of Directors! Serving on our board is a great way to develop leadership skills, and time commitments are less than you may think. See the list of board positions and their respective job descriptions here. Applications open each fall, with new board members filling their role the following January. Positions open for 2-year term starting January 2025:

Board Member commitment requirements include:
- Attending a minimum of 9 board meetings annually (lunch provided for in person meetings)
- Attending a minimum of 7 monthly meetings annually (lunch provided for in person meetings)
- Attending a minimum of 2 Food for Thought events annually
Approximate time commitment: 3-10 hours/month depending on role
FMHRA Programming Committee Member
Want to make a difference in our member experience? Join the Programming Committee!
The committee meets once a month to discuss wins for programming, survey results from events, future topics and suggestions received. As a member of the Programming Committee, you will receive 50% off your FMHRA membership plus free registration to FMHRA hosted conferences.
Members of the committee are responsible for:
- Organizing and executing one (1) Food For Thought event per calendar year
- Assisting one (1) Food For Thought or Special event each year
- Recruiting committee members and potential speakers
- Additional responsibilities required of specific positions
