Speaker Biography
Joyce LeMay, SPHR, is an Associate Professor in the Business & Economics department at Bethel University in St Paul, MN. LeMay earned her Bachelor's degree from UW-Stout and completed her MBA from Metropolitan State University. She has been SPHR certified since 1999. LeMay has worked with numerous industries from small startup companies to large multinational organizations in various management and consulting positions. In her 20+ year career she has focused on working with leaders to help establish and maintain healthy and productive work environments focusing on the implementation of ethical and effective human resource and business strategies. Besides teaching she continues to work with organizations as a human resource/business consultant. LeMay has also been an active volunteer with SHRM at the local and state level with her most recent position as the Membership Director for the SHRM MN State Council and a longstanding member and volunteer with TCHRA.
Re-certification Credit
This session isapproved for 1.25 Business (Strategic) credit hours toward PHR/SPHR re-certification through the HR Certification Institute.
