To Register: Making Positivity a Habit
Our positive or negative attitudes can affect the success of our organizations. This presentation looks at what are some ways that we can influence our own attitude which can play a role in shaping the outlook of our organization.
Learning Objectives
This will cover the following topics:
1. Learn what influences our thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes
2. Consider some techniques to develop a positive mental attitude
3. Outline ways to embody positivity to create a positive organizational culture
Robert Jones joined The Village Business Institute in April 2015 as an Employee Assistance Program Trainer, and regularly provide training sessions on diversity, leadership and employee engagement. I have a bachelor's degree in History and a master's degree in Education with an emphasis in counseling and leadership from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD. I also have a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and am a doctoral candidate for the Educational Doctorate in Leadership from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I have been an adjunct faculty member for the University of Jamestown Master of Arts in Leadership program, Minnesota State University Moorhead, and Kennesaw State University.
