Program Summary:
Goodbye old ways and hello new ways! There’s no question COVID-19 has changed the way we live and work, and guess what? The most forward-thinking companies aren’t thinking, “How do we go back to the way things were?” The most progressive companies are thinking, “How do we create a better future for our company and our people based on what COVID-19 has taught us?” How cool is that?
During this session we’ll talk about how companies are using their learnings from COVID-19 to develop new remote work strategies, how they’re redefining company culture (woo who!), and how the most innovative companies are rising from the ashes and improving their companies and the lives of their employees.

About the Speaker:
In 2019, Nicole Turchin and Kurtis Karn co-founded Sunshine & 79, an employee experience cooperative created to bring the fun back into personal growth and development. Their humorous and educational FunShops were built to take real-world, heavy topics like blame, influence and purpose, and make them a little more approachable and less intimidating to process.
In early 2020, Sunshine & 79 became a part of BNG Team, a Fargo-based company who shares the duo's commitment to positive company culture, developing awesome humans, and approaching life with happiness and an attitude of gratitude! As part of this acquisition, Sunshine & 79 officially became BNG Inspire.
Currently, Nicole serves as BNG Team's Director of Inspiration where she helps people achieve their personal goals and focuses on helping teams and organizations serve together more cohesively. In addition to consulting for BNG Inspire, Kurtis continues to serve as a Talent Acquisition Manager at WEX Health and Discovery Benefits where he helps drive company culture and experience, and helps put people in the right seat professionally so they can grow successfully.
Through BNG Inspire, Nicole and Kurtis continue to bring their FunShops to organizations across the United States who are committed to colliding learning and laughter in the workplace and in life!
