Struggling to find a purpose? Let’s sit down and talk through some things to help you figure out, “what gets me out of bed in the morning?” After doing an intrinsic deep dive into your own personal and professional purpose, you realize what gets you motivated. This can then help you take the steps to find out how to help and motivate others. Find yourself, then help others get better. Knowing your purpose will help drive your leadership potential for others.

2. Self-reflection of what makes you passionate
3. Internal evaluation of personal or professional purpose
Kurtis Karn, Manager, Talent Acquisition for Discovery Benefits a Wex Company, is an experienced head of human resources with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software and insurance industries. He has done just about everything within the human resources realm, but thrives in finding and growing great talent and helping companies to develop and maintain the right corporate culture. Kurtis graduated from Jamestown College with a bachelor’s degree and a double major in Business Administration and Communications and a minor in IT. He received his MBA from the University of Mary in Human Resources Management and is certified with his SHRM-CP and PHR. When he is not working he enjoys making music, running and thinking about his next tattoo.
