Program Summary:
Join us for this presentation as we recap what happened in 2018, from case law updates to regulatory changes to updated agency guidance. We will also take a look into our crystal ball to predict what may happen in the employment law realm for 2019 and how it may affect HR.
Learning Objectives:
1. Develop increased knowledge of important local, state and national legal and cultural developments affecting HR in 2018
2. Identify strategies for dealing with regulatory “hot button” issues for 2019 and beyond, such as harassment, disability accommodations and evolving workplace law regarding sexual orientation and gender identity
3. Review practical, proactive steps for increasing HR compliance, employee satisfaction and managing risk for large and small employers.
